About Elvis Carpet Cleaning

Elvis Carpet Cleaning is an independent, family-run carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning business based in Reading, Berkshire. We clean carpets in homes and small commercial premises across Reading and every village within a 20-mile radius, from Caversham, Woodley and Wokingham out to the Kennet valley, the Goring Gap and the Thames villages towards Henley.

The business is run by Elvis himself — the same person who answers the phone, quotes the job and turns up on the day with the machine. There is no call centre and no subcontractor turning up in an unmarked van. That matters when a carpet is delicate: wool Axminsters in Victorian terraces, Persian rugs, sisal and viscose that shrink if they are over-wetted. We assess the fibre before we touch it and choose the method to suit it, using hot water extraction with eco-friendly, biodegradable solutions that are safe for children and pets.

Our customers are ordinary households: families with muddy hallways and pets, landlords and letting agents needing a checkout clean that passes inspection, and village halls and offices that need the work done out of hours.
